Tom utilises various osteopathic treatment styles to diagnose and help individuals suffering from a wide range of musculoskeletal problems and sports related injuries. He believes that the appropriate application of massage, mobilisation and stretching techniques, alongside personalised exercise guidance and nutritional advice, can improve the function of the body and therefore help create the optimum conditions needed for recovery. His passion for osteopathy and naturopathy helps him to deliver a personalised treatment plan for all of his patients, whilst promoting healthy living and assisting patients achieve their goals.

  • Personal Trainer Level 3 (REPS Accredited)

  • THE OSTEOPATHIC SPORTS CARE ASSOCIATION
  • The Osteopathic Sports Care Association is a membership group for osteopaths involved or interested in the treatment of people participating in sport. It was founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting the education and awareness of sports care both to and from osteopaths. www.osca.org.uk

Background:

  • Tom previously worked within the sailing and watersports industry as a senior and advanced sailor instructor and personal trainer. He has competed at both national and European levels in sailing and is a keen triathlete.
  • In his spare time, Tom works with both amateur and elite athletes at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre as a part of the OSCA mentorship programme which looks to establish further opportunities for future generations of osteopaths within sport.
